Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners are a new and improved way to straighten your smile without the inconvenience of braces. With traditional braces, it takes a while to get used to the look, feeling and having to avoid certain foods that could damage the brace. Clear Aligners are a smooth, clear plastic retainer that is perfectly moulded to the teeth meaning they are discrete, effective, removable and significantly more comfortable that a traditional brace.

Questions? You’re covered.

Once you have decided to go ahead with your Clear Aligner treatment, we will take photographs and impressions of your teeth, and then map out a precise treatment plan to achieve the results you are looking for. You will then receive your custom trays that must be worn for 20-22 hours per day. The trays are designed to be worn in a certain order and for a certain period of time, your doctor will direct you accordingly. This treatment could take from as little as 6 months to 2 years depending on the person but, beautiful results are guaranteed.

The advantages of Clear Aligners are as below:

  • Discrete
  • Comfortable
  • Removable
  • Effective

It is important to remove your aligners before every meal as they are not made to stand the pressure of constant biting and chewing. It is also just as important to brush your teeth after every meal ensuring they are clean before re-inserting your aligner. To clean your aligners we recommend brushing them with a soft toothbrush using lukewarm water and a denture cleaning tablet or a non abrasive toothpaste.

Every smile is different, sometimes it can be as quick as 6 months and for others it could take up to 2 years. During your consultation the doctor will be able to give you a more in depth treatment plan.

Your dentist will schedule appointments every 4 to 6 weeks to ensure your smile is progressing well.

We recommend brushing your aligners with Lukewarm water and a cleansing tablet or a non abrasive toothpaste.
